So i am getting ready to Harvest my first grow, used a 400w mh/hps in a closet 7 ladies and decided what the hell... lets go BIGGER!
I have been looking around, other people's systems... talked to the guys at the Hydro shop, went through the catalogs (haha half the book is highlighting and on my wish list!) and am almost settled on a setup, figured i would get more opinions.
Currently i have:
1x 400w MH/HPS Electronic Ballast w/ reflector and bulbs
1x Window AC
1x 20in Box fan
1x (smallish) Bedroom, don't have exact measurements but i will update with that later i think.
Thinking of picking up:
2x 600w MH/HPS Electronic Ballast
2x Reflectors (this is one part that i am having problems deciding on, would like to hear what others are using with this size setup?)
2x 600w Hortilux hps bulbs
1x XX CFM Inline fan (how much power do i really need?)
1x inline Carbon Filter (what size would i need?)
and Possibly a couple light movers? I saw a pretty decent 6' (max 20lbs) light mover for ~120 dollars, I will be picking up a couple oscilating fans as well. I don't really want to mess with Co2 this go around, maybe next time. And of course the little supplies like timers etc would be picked up if i dont have them already.
With this size of a system would i need the inline ducting for my lights?
As far as the light movers, I hear good things but this is something that is low on the list. Must haves first.
The nutrient system i will be using is the AN 3part Micro/grow/bloom + Big bud, and i plan on picking up more, along with maybe some neem oil or that other shit that is made from neem oil (name escapes me now haha).
I will be using soil, all plants will be in 5 gallon pots... Foxfarm Ocean forest.
The 400w i was thinking of using for a couple mothers + clones in a seperate room or small tent.
What do you guys think? Any links to your own similer setups etc, would be a big help as well as any tips on ductwork.
