Germination Issue

Hey I germed 4 seeds for 2 days and 3 have taproots as long as my pinky but the 4th hasnt even cracked. One was older about 5 months old the other 3 I just bought, they are all the same strain. So my question is its only been 2 days should I wait longer before trying sandpaper or cracking it? Is it because it was older? What would you do?

Are you doing the paper towel method? I typically just drop my seeds in a seed starting soil mix and wait. Sometimes they all pop at the same time, others take longer, and some never pop.

I would just wait.

Do you not plant as soon as the root appears? You're not helping there.

Yeah paper towel, its just weird ive never had a seed not pop before. I guess ill just keep waiting.

Yeah I do the three are already planted.
