germinating autoflower seeds??

Hi, I have 10 easy ryder autoflower seeds on the way, along with a 600W hps. I'm still curious on what the best germination method.. should I put them in paper towels? Directly into soil? Do I put them under light? Heeellpppp

I have never had a problem with getting a seed to germinate. I have used most methods with success in all of them. I personally favor the paper towel method. I just put the papertowel with seeds in a ziplock bag on my windowsill. After a couple days the taproot is showing and in the soil it goes under a t5 setup for about 2 weeks. Then under my mh for veg.

Try what I have done for over 4 years now. Just put the seed directly into soil.

In my first attempt i took two seeds, put one right into into soil and the other one I pre-soaked in a glass of water and then put it into soil. Both sprouted fairly quickly and both are going strong, 4 weeks now. Until they sprouted i kept them in complete darkness.
