Germinated too long?

I put my seed in a moistpaper towel and a day or 2 later the root poppd out but i decided to leave it a little longer to get the root longer. I forgot about it for an additional few days and the shell from the seed broke apart from the root and now its just a long root with 2 peddles at the end and there split out. i put the root in the dirt today but left the 2 peddles sticking out of the dirt. Is this seed fkd up now? please can sum1 gimme a hand

time will tell my friend. so long as the 2 starter leaves are still green they are probably fine.. but let us know

well it does have a slight yellow tint to it but im sure now that its in dirt it should be fine?
