Should i put it under light? Or wait for it to sprout then light?

And how moist do you get your soil?

I always put my light on before they sprout. Yours should be sprouted in a day or 2

no light until it pops its shell. you should keep the dirt around the seed moist always.

Germinating in soil isn't very reliable I don't think.

You dont wanna water your seedlings too much. I water 1 good time when I first plant the germinated seed then I wont water again until it the soil is dry..sometimes can be a week. You dont wanna drown it and I think it helps the roots to stretch and grow searching for water

I look at it like this...mother nature puts light on a seed thats in the ground. Probably doesnt matter either way you do it tho

No. I poped my seed into pre soaked soil

Just keep it moist around the seed then but not too wet. It will just take a little longer to sprout then. Lots of guys do it that way.
