germinated a little too long?

So I think I germinated a little to long.. There long I will be planting them today
-one already popped from the seed can I still plant it?
- when I plant them.should I make a deeper hole?
- when I plan should the seed be facing down or up?

Thanks in advance

I've had this happen to me before and I still planted it and it still sprung up. Just push it down about an inch below the soil top and cover it up like you would a seed. And just keep your hopes up!

place the germinated seeds about two centimeters down in the soil with the sprout on the bottom. keep the surface of the soil moist and give them constant light while in this stage.

i would prolly still plant the one that broke its seed. seeds aint cheap.

how long a root are you talking about ? If it's over an inch already just poke a pencil into the soil and carefully lower the root domn inthe hole with the seed head just above surface and press the soil around the root and give it a small shot of water. Normally you would plant the root tip up if the seed has just cracked.
