General Lighting questions not in growfaq

Hey just had a couple of general questions on lighting. I have a 75 watt hps light, yes I know its not going to produce the kind of yield as a 400 watt, however its what I have and I want to use. "cost effective" For two plants it should be better than a few cfl's right? Any help would be great thanks!!!!

Go ahead and use the 75 watt hps...but also use some cfls with it..it will help alot.

fuck the cfls... the best way to maximize growth is with a vertical scrog... basically a barrell of green...

chicken wire 1.5 ft wide and long enough to wrap around the bulb with an 8 inch gap between bulb and wire (so about 18 inch diameter)... train 2 plants in that until half full, flip to flower and you should be set =]

what kinda medium? hydro/soilless i suggest using gh micro and bloom... 2 parts micro to 1 part bloom for veg, reverse ratio during flower =]

simple yet oh so effective... if you want to get a little better results, go 2:2 for the first 4 weeks of flower, should give you some weight in the end....

I'm using top soil with perlite mixed in........... I already have the techna flora recipe for success stater kit that's why I was asking. But I will definety check out the ones that you are refering to.
