I am considering this system from GH. While I am a newbie to hydro, not to gardening. I like this system because it has a small foot print, 4' X 4' 7" and will fit under a 400 W footprint. It looks like you could set it up in about 30 minutes. I only found 1 thread about this specfic technology with hardley any replies.

General Hydroponics is pleased to offer the trim line Model 36 with an extra large 40 Gallon Panda reservoir. Excellent for growing lettuces, basil, and other smaller plants up to three or four feet in height.
