gdp and some black widow action....

Aloha RIU! so after chosing a good mother plant, i decided to flower the 3 plants i was eventually gonna toss. I have 1 kens gdp and 2 mr. nice black widow females. All will be under a 400 watt hps. Im using botanicare pure blend pro grow and bloom, liquid karma, sweets, hydroplex and calmag. Im also using 2.5 gal hempy buckets with coco. These were veged for 5 weeks and topped at 3 1/2 weeks under a 6 bulb t8 litro set up and placed under hps for flower.

Week 5 (day 35) 2 pics in the center are the gdp. Pic on the right is the black widow.



At week 6 (day 42) left and center pic is gdp. right pic is the black widow.



Start of week 7 (day 49) First three pics are gdp and the last three pics are black widow.



Over all the girls are doing really well. Ihave had no issued so far. the gdp is nearing the home stretch and ill be flushing here this week. The black widow still has a few weeks left but she is looking really good at the moment. I just cant wait.

Lookin good!! How many days are you flowering the GDP? I have 6 that Im about to start flowering.

She will probably go eight weeks... im on day 52 of flower. Already started to flush... checking trichs today to see how far along we are...

Your plants look amazing! I just started a GDP grow myself. I grew out Mr Nice BW a few grows ago and LOVED it. I hope you enjoy your BW it was a great one to grow for me

She will be in the dark until i harvest her on monday... she looks ready to go... no purple hues on her. But i think thats due to my warmer temps here in hawaii... will update with better pics on monday. I will also add some black widow pics as well. Chee!!!

Gdp is coming down today... trichs look nice and cloudy with a bit of amber... still no purpling but i ain't tripping. Some of the best gdp I've had didn't have purple either. She smells so good when I'm handling her and i just cant wait for it to finish up..

Gdp yielded 63 grams... not too shabby...

Oh yes... she stinks like crazy... smells sooo good.

I ended up getting some really good frosty trim off of them. Gonna do some bubble hash runs soon.

Black widow yielded just under 5 oz. of some stinky, sticky, frosty bud. This stuff is just fyah... love it. Ill post some bud shots later.

Howzit bruddah, nice grow. You running a carbon filter in there? I'm thinking of doing a small indoor run this year just to have some more control over everything (mold mostly) and was debating picking up a small filter eventually if i do decide to do it. Trying to weigh my pros and cons here with the indo/outdo.

I scored a 4x4x7' tent, 400w HPS with vented hood, vortex inline fan, some fox farm nutes, and a ghetto cfl rig for $200 off craigslist. I just been using the tent to veg. with a t5 for my outdoor because it costs so much to run a 400w but I'm debating doing some indoor now that we got solar electricity!

Sup bra... thanks for stopping by. Ive been seeing alot of braddahz having trouble with mold, bud rot and pest recently. Good thing about indoor is you can definitely control the environment so hardly any problems if you doin it right. To be honest the cost electric didnt jump too bad for me. Little over 100 bucks. I think it was like 120 or so. And thats floros for vegging, hps, inlines, fans, pumps and all. I would love to grow outdoors as well but too many nosey neighbors. Dont want nobody in my business...

Oh and to answer your question... i do run a carbon filter with 6 inch 435cfm inline and cool tube with my 400w hps right now. Gonna get a new hood for my 600 watt hps soon tho. Then ill be using that.

Cool, I got a 400w HPS in an air cooled hood and a 4 inch vortex fan. I am worried it wont be strong enough to pull enough air through the HPS and a carbon filter and still keep my temps down enough. I think its only like 175cfm, but my tent size is only 3.5'x3.5'x7' so It may be the bare minimum that would work. Running an AC, is not really an option.
