The Gas Lantern (GL) Light Cycle is also known as the 12-1 Light Cycle.
Most people are afraid to try new things... Everybody who used this method has reported great success..
There are lots of people who will bash this method, but they have not tried it.
Pros of the GL:
Energy Savings
More Resting period for plants
Good Growth
Stealth (lower energy)
More dark period = less heat = less energy spent cooling.
Saves $$$$
Reduced stress when switching to Flowering = quicker flowering
Cons:
Using a timer is pretty imperative.
Shaded Plant parts could flower.
Less heat? some people need the heat from the lights.
This method was published in Skunk Magazine and therefore it should have some degree of credibility... also I have recently switched to this method...

Anybody else using this method? if so, show us some pictures of your grow and give us feedback. What setup did you use? Was is successful?
