You take the lense from the laser pointer and mount it in front of your phone camera. I know this works on my iPhone 5 and Galaxy s3.

There are several mods online to turn high-res phone cams into microscopes.
And there are actually 10x, 15x, 60x, 60-100x, etc scopes that come with cases to attach them to the phone.
I ordered a few different ones for my S4. But forgot I have the Active and they don't fucking fit. lol.
