funky purple midgrades

so ive been getting this purple/orange mids its all bricked up but its not shwag/lowgrades, its just ok. for some reason the first hits of the weed taste amazingly fresh almost like a nug flavor. the wierdest thing about it is the 3 people i know who get this bud in bulk all complain of sore throats when there not otherwise sick since we started geting this purple mids

ive had a few theories about whats so funky about this weed. my first idea was whoever grew it did not do a nute flush before harvest. my second idea is it was soaked or sprayed with something, but it dosnt really taste like chemicals. one friend said hes herd of people soaking bud in wine to give it flavor and color.

also whos seen that gritty overly "keefy" indoors? i had that stuff for a while but realized it couldnt be keefe because i couldnt make hash with the grams and grams of keefe i had, so i stoped smoking it

let me rephrase then. what would buds be like if they weren't flushed of nutes before harvest? im only pushing this question cuz im woried about smoking this weed

if you have weed that causes symptoms other than enjoyment, you should stop. is it worth it? you can try pictures for more detailed answers.

Genetics and or low temps in late flower can cause purple but as for the sore throat my guess is it was probably flushed but it was groen to move so I highly doubt it was cured at all. prolly harvested dried and bagged. I say if ur high stay there.

Its impossible to tell from your description, or any description for that matter, why the bud gives people a sore throat.....The buds could have been half rotted....I have seen some bud rot that looked almost purple.......Theres always the possibility its just harsh weed.....pesticides come to mind......You name it and that could be the reason......

Bottom line is if you don't like it don't smoke it but theres really no point trying to figure out whats wrong with it because even if you do, you cannot fix the weed

Sure there is - Water Cure.

If something was sprayed on it or it was not cured properly the water cure will fix those issues.

I have water cured buds that were literally un-smokeable and they turned out to have really decent highs.

One of my boys is from southern NH and he said he bought a 1/4 of some mids for like 45$ that was purple and smelled like shit...turned out sum1 had sprayed it with RAID insect repellent. I didnt believe him but maybe u guys grabbed the same batch. That would suck...lol raid isnt healthy. Where I'm from I never see mid's like what he gets...his stuff is always bricked and the shit I have is always fluffy...glad I dont live there.
