Funges and your Plants?! (Mycorrhizae Roots)

So I recently read about the fact that certain types of fungeses that can be obtained to mix into you plant medium can greatly help benefit the nutrient uptake in your plants roots. Farmers use this technique with corn and other crop and it increases nutrient uptake by quiet an amount, some cases double to triple what your roots are capable of on their own. It specifically helps in the uptake of Phosphorous in your plants roots. I'm thinking this would be benificial if you were growing outdoors instead of indoors or hydroponically considering there is really only so much space for your roots to spread, when not just freely spread throughout the ground. I'm wondering if anyone has messed around with this method of Mycorrhizae roots? An if you have what'd you come up with as far as your increase in growth, yield, and overall product? Also what type of fungi/bacteria did you use?

That does sound interesting however I have no idea how one would manage that. I know someone who keeps adding a fresh handful of worms every so often on the base of his plants outdoors and he seems to think that's what makes his nugs big... It might make some sense to try to make the root system present with some sort of good living organisms that could perhaps welcome other beneficial microbes, bacteria and maybe even help creating necessary conditions funghi growth? He does grow some monster buds with no fertilizers and i mean infant sized buds. He also seems to think rabbit droppings are the best shit one could mix in the soil when growing cannabis. Also he says that one should save all fan leaves and stems etc for next year to mix in with the soil. He even throws away the fluffy buds to mix into the soil instead of making butter or hash lol. Bear in mind this is an ancient fella and he might have gotten some weird habits over the years that might seem unorthodox but this is someone who's got more outdoor growing experience always in the same spot for longer than most people have lived. What do you think about this?

I dont know much about the science behind it but promix comes with that stuff in it. Im pretty sure you can buy stuff to supplement your soil with it too

I'm currently using Fox Farm's root drench, and it really works wonders. I also like to brew up my own AACT (actively aerated compost tea) to create and breed my own beneficial microorganisms.

Yeah that sounds like the guy knows what he's doing. Left over plant matter mixed with rabbit turds which probably contains alot of good nutrients since they feed off greens and the worms leave digested nutrients in the soil as well as aerate it. Thats one pretty good way to grow organic, and you say he dosn't use any fertalizer? I like it, with age comes wisdom bro, plus i've heard the best medium is a medium teaming with life. I'd like to see those infant sized buds!

Plant onions, and leeks. then plant your magic plants where you planted the onions and leeks. I did this with a winter crop of onions, and spring plants. Works well.
