Well heres a run down of my setup which creates this at 3 weeks of flowering
Ok
The closet is inset into the wall. I used 2mm mylar on the walls (easier to work with) and lined the curtain with mylar as well.
mylar: ~$25
The floor space is approximately 2ft x 5ft and the height is about 5 ft.
For lighting I use a 6" wide 19" long cooltube, 1000w hortilux, 1000w plantmax conversion bulb, diy ballast
cooltube $80, plantmax $60, hortilux $110, ballast $150
Also two 4 foot 40w 10% UV-B tubes w/ controller
UV-B $80
lighting sub: $480
For cooling I use solid 6" diameter aluminum ducting and a nice booster fan
ducting + fan: $80
As a medium there are netcups in 10 gallon reservoirs filled with hydroton. Larger plants like the ones above are in 5" netcups. I use 3" netcups for smaller plants at 6 per 10 gal, I don't want to use anything smaller than 3".
reservoirs $5 each, netcups $34 per reservoir, hydroton ~$10 for 9 litres or so.
Medium sub: ~$50 for quite a few
Air pump is a single 24w 8 output eco air
Air pump $65
So that brings the total for the flowering setup to about $700
