From veg to flower and back?

I have a few plants that I'm doing indoors, I wanted to know if flipping them to a 12/22( currently on 24/0) for a week or so to determine sex then when I get rid of the males flipping back to 24/0, would it have any back effects on my girls like to much stress or smaller yields, and how long should it talk to be able to sex them after I flip the lights

you can do it might give them some stress. but if you have a good stock to start should be fine. mostly it takes around 14 days to get the females to show and a little less to get males to show. or you can just grow them till they per flower but i can understand not wanting to waste your time on a male.

Thanks, yeah I'm limited on space in there box so I think I'll do tht. can I do it when they are still saplings ( under 4 nodes) or Should I wait till they are Alittle bigger like 6-8 nodes?
