From passive extraction to rk tpl125 - Get rid of passive??

Hello,

well into veg on first grow.
Space 80cm x 50cm x165cm.
250hps./ cooltube

Had - passive intake hole = 2 x 4 inches
passive extract hole =2 x 4 inches

Now got a ruck tpl125 extractor (365m2) & carbon filter & acoustic ducting.

Should I seal up passive exhaust hole now that I have extractor pulling air out through a new hole???

Also can anyone tell me what kind of switch you can get for a ruck fan to slow down extraction/fan speed, its way more noisy than I thought it would be.
