fridge grow

i just had the amazing idea, why not grow in an old industrial refrigerator? they have precut holes for air in/out. they come insulated, some have glass panels to look through. they all have removable and modifyable shelves.

this could be perfect for germinating plants, or even just two levels of plants.

but when my buddy gets the fridge in (they come free when broken) we will be able to try it out with pics.

i dont think fridges work well, i have tried it, because they are sooo insulated, temps SKY ROCKET like crazy, even with a bunch of ventilation, try a washer or dryer, or file cabinet.

Funny you said that,, I converted a dishwasher,,works great, ,White enamel on the inside and temps are perfect for seed/clones.. I'm using a 125W compact flour. and a bigger computer fan for venting out the top to get rid of highter temps.. Inside of washer stays around 72deg and inside of dome with heating pad stays around 82deg.. I have it in my spare kitchen in the basement and with lights out,,not a peep of light shines through anywhere. Here are couple pics.
