Freshly New Grower Needs Lights

Hey all, I've got an area of 4x4x8 that I'll fit about 4 plants into. What are my best options with a budget of 5-600$? Thanks everyone. Need info!

Timber, hlg, or cmh

You can get 1200w LED for about $135 each. You can run 3-4 of those is that space.

don't waste your time on junk,buy the best you can afford.Any light with Samsung diodes is the place to start.

My customer's setup: 4x4 tent, 4 plants, 1 400W CMH light. Day 59 of flower.

Hi SunPlix, Q. If going one single light in a flowering 4 x 4 which CMH would you recommend? Im currently running a 600w HPS and ive been thinking of going to CMH Ballast and lamps. Im in Oz are they available here?

This is from another customer. 3x3 tent, 1 315W light, 2 plants. 22 oz dry buds.

Im a little sceptical that a 400w CMH would be an upgrade on a 600w HPS and was thinking more along the 630 CMH lines. Is the 400 that good it will outperform a 600w HPS or is it more of a direct replacement?

What's your yield with 600W HPS? Did you see my last post? He is in NZ, using one 315W and got 22 oz. 400W will yield more than 315.
If your tent has 3 feet clearance (from light and canopy), you can use 630W.

We all know yield is also strain based and G13 is a big yielder. I run a perpetual rotational but have pulled a pound in a solo run with avg yielders.
I see a lot of people recommending two 315s for a 4x4 is all. Ill take some measurements when the lights on, I don't think ill have 3 feet clearance... and have a chat with your distributer. Thanks mate I didn't even think of a 400CMH..

What do you call sweet? Numbers?

Dont have them harvested yet but I have noticed buds swelling much more and hardly any spacing on bud sights. All the reviews on this light have been nothing short of amazing I'll have final results soon.

I am running 2 315s in a 5x5 space. Looking good to me so far!

My vote goes to the CMH. I’m currently vegging in a 4x4 with one 315w Cmh. This is day 34 from seed, 1st grow.
