Freeze drying with dry ice?

I have heard that you can hang for three days then place equal parts dry ice and MJ in a container place them in a freezer and when the dry ice in gone the bud will be about dry. I also hear that it will increase potency and preserve the buds. I can see how this would work being that it works for food but I would appreciate some other opinions before I try.

Never heard that; I'd opt to ensure my buds dry correctly. No rushing for me. :> It's worth it!
