Fox Farm Ocean Forest alternative

So I have been using FF OF for my current grow, I really like the stuff its amazing.

But I was wondering what else is just as good. or comparable. for the soil.

FF products are hard to find where I live, i had a place about 5 minutes away but now they seem to never have any in stock anymore. not even the nutes.
and online with shipping is like 40 dollars.

ive read that promix is good but you have to add stuff to balance pH

I dont wanna make my own soil. that seems like a huge pain in my ass, and im still new to all this. ill get to making my own later in my life.

Roots, black gold, humboldt nutrients line, i would see what your shop carries and pick from there though

Well The only places i have are walmart lowes and home depot, Im on amazon.
If I can find a soil for a good price and thats good for cannabis ill buy it.

i know it's a little late in the season but if you have any reputable plant nursuries they usually have primo soil. this summer i gave the bird to the ocean forest and went with gardener's gold organic soil. it's a very high quality soil similar in makeup as OF and i only amended it with worm castings and lime and a bit of perlite (same as i do to OF anyway). my plants love it and i spent less than half of what i would have spent on the ocean forest. less bark, also. it was gentle enough to sprout seeds in. i'm not telling you to get THIS soil, i'm just pointing out that high quality is high quality, and it comes in many brands. as long as you stay away from soil with time release ferts you should be fine.

Can you recommend anything thats on Amazon? I Am ordering a few things for around the house. I wanna spend over 25 for the free shipping lol

A big ol' bag of FFOF is $40 shipped, that's what I gotta buy here in the next week or so :\

Not sure of an alternative though.

you mean a 1.5 sq/f? because I can get a bag of that shit for 17.99 if I drive about 20 miles

Damn. thats a lot. I just wish I had a place that had it in stock that was closer, or find a cheaper brand that has almost the same quality of FF.
I just dont wanna have to keep drive out so far to get a bag.

When it comes to those three places you live near, you're not gonna find any specialty soils. Just the Average Scott's/MG usually.

just ask a worker at that store to re order some new soil.....if you dont wanna do that...like most people are saying....ebay and amazon are my friends....
i can get anything that a person near a hydroshop can get off the internet plus more...
gotta love living in this day in age...

I did ask them, they said they would call me when they got it in, they never called, Iv called 3 times after that, still nothing

and online its 40 with shipping :/
Id rather drive 15 minutes and get it for 17.99 :P
and have it the same day. I normally would buy it online but shipping for some things is crazzyyyy
