Fox Farm is still a Family Buisness

There are a couple rumors floating around that Fox Farm had been bought out by the evil miracle grow corporation.. this is false.
Here is the email I received from Fox Farm::bigjoint:

Hello!

Thanks for your interest in FoxFarm! Yes, we are still a small, family-run business based in Eureka, CA, and no, we have not been bought out by any other company. We are also still committed to producing the highest quality soils and fertilizers available. We have no plans to change the way we do business, so rest assured that when you garden with FoxFarm products, you are using the highest quality products around! Thanks again for your inquiry, and please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Cheers!

Ocean Forest & Happy Frog have always worked great, & I use a lot of it.

I use them as a base for my soil mix.

I get big beautiful plants with them every time. I've never had any issues with them.

I highly recommend Ocean Forest & Happy Frog!

Thanks for the post. Unfortunately I have been spreading the rumor also because my local hydro guy said that he found out the sale happend.

I've since found out that Monsanto / Scott's / MG bought Dr. Earths brand of organic products and was only talking to the fox farm crew.

that's good to hear. my hydro store guy was telling me that fox farm "peace of mind" dry granular fert is no longer going to be called peace of mind, just fox farm, due to some changes at the company (he didn't elaborate on these changes) . he said the rep swore to him the formulas would remain unchanged.

i'd be pissed if they changed that stuff. i just discovered its magic recently for outdoor veggies and now i'm doing my first run using it in my indoor cannabis plants and it's working out swell.

This 'White Grape' plant hit 14', in Happy Frog & Ocean Forest, soil base. She finished out with lots of frosty purple buds.
I love this stuff, well worth the money
