Four different phenos? When should I flip?

I started 4 sour diesel from seed and theyve grown at very different rates. I just threw them in what pots I had on hand but the back two are in 3gal and theyre half the size of the front two which are in 5gal. Are they just more indica dominant and thats why theyre staying squat or is it the 3gal pot? I've never had a problem with big plants in 3 gals before. The back two are never going to catch up so when do i flower? Do I veg for longer so these bigger two can compensate for the small ones?

regarding the flip i think you want to find the sweet spot where the bigger plants can compensate for the smaller ones to fill.
your question to the phenotypes I guess is: flower them and you will see :)

edit: you could defoliate the bigger ones completely so the other plants can catch up.. but if this will make them equal, I am not sure
