So, I was mowing the lawn and noticed this plant. Obviously it has been left unattended all summer. I'm in northern Illinois and temps are going below 50 at night with high 30's at night in the late 10 day forecast. Should I leave it or chop it?
High 30's I would not worry. I am a ways north and I only started to get concerned when there was talk of frost. Any chance you could fin an appropriate sized cardboard box to toss over it if the temp gets lower?
