forgot to burp & white film covered bud...

branched snapped, i harvested these premy nugs, about 3 grams... I left it in the jar for 3 days forgot to burp and today i looked at it, covered in white spider web looking flim all stuck together it was gross. is that mold? i dont have the pix cuz i quickly removed all that shit and now its drying... im guessing moisture was the cause of this? it was only a very small amount so i dont care but still id rather learn now, my real harvest is coming fast!

Sure sounds like it, you've got to keep an eye on your buds, vigilantly, at least you didn't lose too much, but now you've learned, best of luck on your future harvest.

don't be in such a rush to jar them. when the buds feel crispy on the outside, they are still wet inside and need to be sweat out before jarring. I don't put into jars until they are ready to stay in there,

i usually dry around 5-6 days or so before hitting jars
going to do the brown paper bag dry this time around and then hang dry some like normal and see if a blind taste test can tell the diff

It wouldn't hurt to get yourself a hygrometer to put in jars, best way to keep track of RH, strive for betwee 55 to 60% RH.
