Flushing

Hey guys,

Coming up to you with a question: we have a drip clean system, growing in pebbles. As a frequency for the flush, we are doing it as it follows:
- one flush when we switch to flowering nutrients
- one flush 2 days before the harvest

We noticed that after one month of flowering the EC is growing faster, so we are wondering if it is recommended to do an intermediate flush between those 2 mentioned above.

Any answer is much appreciated.

Should flush daily. Never good to let it sit there and stew.

Best bet is to feed appropriately and the EC won't creep up. No need for flush unless you have a lockout/salt buildup issue in the first place.

There is still a time and place for flushing, but that time and place is caused by initial overfeeding. Balance the ratio, feed appropriately and that need for a flush disappears immediately.
