Flushing

After many years of growing and doing tests, I don’t flush........but if you were going to it’s something that you do in the last 1-2 weeks of flower depending on who you talk to.

With that being said, the last 1-2 weeks of flower is not based on a calander or the amount of weeks it’s been since it started flower. Plants finish when they finish and you shouldn’t make any harvest decisions based on a number of days or weeks unless you know the specific plant very well from running it before.

If you would like help determining if your plant is close to harvest feel free to post some pictures of the buds and we can try to help.

After every visit to the dispensary I flushed their weed. It all smelled the same.

Go to Arizona, buy the most recommended bud, Grow Science, and tell me that shit smells like weed. It doesn't. It all smells the same, like nutes. They dont flush and people are fucking crazy in Arizona, and CO, and LA, they actually prefer smoking MAC that tastes like Botanicare over MAC that tastes like weed. Unflushed weed tastes like a pair of shoes made out of hay soaked in fingernail polish rolled up in a carpet, and i mean that in a bad, non-weed way. The unevolved idiot masses sometimes, oftentimes call this "gas". Drives me nuts people think that's weed they're smelling.

You gotta be careful OP, the wees scene is practically dominated by NPCs in the 20th century. These overfeeding unflushing lunatics can't tell any of their own strains apart from each other with a blindfold on.

Flushing is a waste, I feed right up till harvest. Some people say give it a week flush, that's like 12 percent of your plants flowering time, so when your flushing you could be feeding and getting bigger buds. The plant processes organic and synthetic fertilizers all the same. Your drying and curing process is more important to taste and smokeability

Thank you.lol its simple but thats what I needed to hear. When is the best indicator that im close I want to just do plain water for last week
Look at your trichomes and the looks of the bud. At some point cut a small bud, quick dry it and smoke it. It will smoke harsh and taste terrible but is the high where you want it. When it is cut 1 branch. Then feed it only water for a week and harvest the rest of the plant. After the same drying and curing times you'll know if you feel it's necessary to flush in the future. One week makes little difference. Report back on what you found out. Nice job so far!
