Flushing with Molasses

I've read that it's good to mix molasses with your water for the final weeks of flushing. It's supposed to help the plant use up it's excess nutrients. I use molasses in my fert mixes, but have never used it for flushing, just pure water. Thoughts anybody?

yes that wont hurt at all and most people do that. I on the other hand like to just use clean water no additives, I feel that i get the best taste that way. Not saying that using molasses in a flush is bad just my opinion> GL

Unsulphured molasses is good to use, but in small amounts, like 1 teaspoon per gallon of unchlorinated water, used once a week during flowering. It really feeds the micro-life in your medium more than the plant itself. The micro-life is what helps process / strip away the remaining nutes in your medium, making them more available to your plant.

For the last 10 days, nothing but straight water is best IMHO. I like to see my bigger, lower fan leaves fade (yellow up). That way, I know the plant has used up all the fertilizer in it's medium / plant tissue.
