Flushing throughout grow? (soil grow)

I plan on using ffof, happy frog, myco, perlite and dolamite lime mixed into my soil for this next grow. I plan on letting the nutrients in my soil take care of veg nutes and I will only add flowering nutes when I decide to flower.

I understand that salts build up in soil after using nutes, especially ff trio which I am using.

Since I'm not adding any nutes during veg do I need to flush my soil at all during veg?

Should I do it once or twice during flowering or only a few times in the last 10 days prior to harvest?
Thanks

Most premixed soils contain slow release nutrients, therefore flushing them would not do you any good as they will only breakdown over time.
Try using a trough to feed your plants and just give them plain water from the top. Works real well at preventing salt lock outs.

There is no reason to flush until the last week. Unless you have over fed and are getting nute burn. By flushing you disrupt the balance of the soil. You may end up with a deficiency. Also depending on the strain you may want to add a N boost just before flowering to help with the stretching and fast paced growth that occurs after switching 12/12.

Why does a plant you have never seen nor grown need to be flushed on the last week of flower? What were the plants symptoms that led you to the conclusion of a flush being necessary?

I've heard and have flushed during the last week of flowering to remove all fertilizers that have been added to the soil so that the salts don't suck up synthetic fertilizers and salts. I've heard that it can make the smoke not as enjoyable.

And thanks for the replies I will only flush at the end of flower! Thanks!
