**Flushing Question**

People seem to have different opinions on whether flushing a plant 2 weeks before harvest is needed or not. People seem to say flush the plant before harvesting, but nobody ever gives any evidence proving it helps or has any personal experiences with plants they flushed and didn't flush. I hear from everyone that flushing the plant increases flavor and smoke-ability... but I have heard that curing is what does that.. so it seems that there are too many people on this forum who just pass along one thing they read on the internet without actually testing its proof.

My question is... who thinks I should flush my plant before i harvest?? Please back up your answer with evidence such as personal experience or something of that nature instead of a hypothetical opinion that has no reasoning or logic behind it. I just want the best for my baby!!!

Thanks a lot!

What does flushing do? Well the first flush disolves all the salts. The second flush (15 mins later) flushes out all the salts. So now your roots have no garbage to intake for there last 2 weeks. Taste will be better, burn will be smoother, and over all flavor will be better.

Oops I guess I should have stated I'm using soil and my nutes were PureBlend Pro Bloom, which I understand is organic. So does the fact that I use organic nutes change whether or not I should flush?

That does not change anything grasshopper. Trust me FLUSH then wait 15mins and Flush again. You can however add 2 tbls of Brer Rabbit Molasses per gal every watering before and after the flush. It will not leave any taste, chems, salts, etc behind. It will boost up your girth up to 20%.
