fluorescent too close or grow tent too hot?

So this is my first tent grow. it's a 4x4x6.5 and the only air circulation that's occurring is produced by an oscillating tower fan. Now, on a few plants some of the leave's edges seemed to be curled up. If I move the light fixture up i fear that i will loose light penetration. It is currently hanging 16 inches above the tops. Would installing an intake fan fix the issue? If i installed an intake fan, would i most certainly need a exhaust fan or is it unnecessary?

I'm including a couple photos so you can get the gist of my setup and see what i'm working with. please excuse my lame humidity dome lol, i ordered one off of amazon with a heating pad that should be arriving this afternoon! :) photo 2.JPG photo 1.JPG photo 3.JPG

Some temperature fluctuation data would be helpful, at this stage I would go the opposite and hit for an extract fan 6 inch( I've pissed about with 4 inch too long) I say that as older the plants get.... they get stinky, also removing the heat is the issue? not heating it up? so why the heat pad.?

leave the inlet passive so it will suck air in all directions into then out via the extract fan

Most important would be the need for a temperature gauge .....first

ps nice fan tho !!!!

as far as temperature data i can't provide that at the moment... unfortunately i'll have to wait till my day off tomorrow to go shopping for one as i just noticed the issue this morning. i am not at all concerned about keeping the smell discreet. so what you're saying is an exhaust fan around 6 inches would be in order? roughly 440cfm?

and the heat pad is not necessary in the tent. but once my dome arrives i had plans on assembling a separate tent for cloning purposes. But you're probably right, i most likely won't need the heating pad in my house.

thanks
