I'm planing on using 8 T5 fluorescent lamps that are 4 feet long and more than 2 feet wide in a tent that is 6x6x6...The lights will put out 40,000 lumens...is this enough for the vegitative growth in the given area?
Also should I use grow (6400k), bloom (3000k) or a mixture of both lighting spectrums for the vegitative stage?

the first time i vegged i bought some old school ballasts and got 4 tubes, two blue on the inside and two white (kinda red) on the outside my plants grew quick and beautiful. i dont know if that was better than going with all blues--because there werent anymore blue bulbs...but im sure it was better than all warm colors
