Fluorescent, full spec or stock bulb?

When using fluorescents for clones/seedlings, should I not use the "all color spectrum" bulb type and use the normal stock bulb?

I'd say use the normal ones, but I'm not too sure >-< gonna be a first time using fluorescents for me soon .

Oh and if anyone knows, how long can I keep clones in a clone tray for? =X
