Flowering Transplant

for about a week now ive noticed some roots poking out the drain holes of my pots. this happened a while back during veg stage so i transplanted with very little problems ( a bit of mud spill). im fully into flowering now with nice bud development and some pistils turning orange but a number of buds which i think could be larger.

i wondered:
-o- what are the chances of it becoming root bound and dying? (starting to look beautiful and crystally so id hate to waste it now)
-o- if there was much point transplanting so late into flowering?
-o- will it affect bud size and potency with a few more inches worth of root growth?
-o- also, i read it wasnt neccessary to flush when using organics. im using bio bizz bloom+topmax with added organic unsulphered molasses. does any one have an opinion on that?

ill make sure next time i transplant into a much larger pot or start flowering much earlier

should be o.k to finnish off as it is. some people reckon a bit of root bound helps budding so make you're own mind up about that. but if transplanting water the plant then transplant then water once in new pot. to reduce stress.

Yeah, I actually had the same exact question. My girls are in week 3 of flower and are developing very nicely. I don't want to transplant if I don't have to for space reasons, not to mention the work involved. I'm happy with the height of the plants and am hoping that vertical growth is now slow to stopped (they already went thru mega-stretch when I switched to 12/12). The plants are thirsty every 2-3 days or so now...

Can I get away with not transplanting?

sounds like your the same WBD. mine went through a mega stretch too and are drinking at about the same rate.

are you soil or hydro? if soil have you started using molasses yet? i used it from a week after 12/12 and the plants love it. i use about a teaspoon or slightly less per litre of water

Nah, I hadn't really intended on doing so. This is my first grow and I'm trying to keep things real simple. However, now that you mention it, that doesn't sound like a terribly complicated thing to do. :)

Oh, to answer your question, I'm in soil.
