flowering time??/

me and a friend piked up about 10 plants raging from a foot to 4 feet. non of the plants are flowering just pistols coming off it, the thing is my other plants are buddin(plants of my own) there not in the same area so dont get the same light. any idea on when these plants shood show signs of bud

when they have been on a 12/12 light cycle for 2 to four weeks?? is this a trick question. You don't know the strain, haven't sent any pics and you want to know what?? VV
