Flowering almost 9 weeks

Hello everyone, I have two Gigabud plants that have been in flower for almost 9 weeks. They are clones of a freebie G13 seed. This is only my second grow so I am still a newbie. I sampled a few buds a week or so ago and it was potent and tasty. The plants show no sign of slowing and continue to grow new white hairs and growth. Can anyone estimate how much longer they have to go? About 4 weeks ago I had a incident where the reservoir was bone dry and I am not sure how long it was like that. Some of the fan leaves got crispy and brown could that be from the lack of water or is it a sign they are close to finish?

no shit huh looks pretty good for a freeby i also got these awhile back for free but still havent planted them .. not sure how long you got left but if theres new white hairs poppin out and showing growth its definitely not ready. that 1st pic looks crazy on top looks like theres mini colas on top of the main cola lol pretty sweet

9 weeks should be done if not almost done. If the water was dry then growth will not be normal. Make sure you always change the water and make sure the plants dont suck it all.

hey man i have a church atm that does this, keeps shootin out new growth. this is my 2nd time wit her 1st time chopped at round 9 1/2wks . this time im lettin her go till sunday which will b 11wks. give it like another 2wks cux mines has slow new growth down significantly still shootin a white pistal here and there but nuttin like a week ago so id say let it go for another wk or 2

Yea that looks like it's gonna be at least two if not three more weeks. They'll fatten up quite a bit so it'll be worth it to wait.

you should have a look at the breeders recomendations mate and then add a wk or so either way, the flowering time on these is marked as medium to long so depending on the sativia in it..... i'd say at least 2-3wks

Hes right, those top colas will swell and join in these last few weeks. your plants look good but it just goes to show that the seed companies harvest times are way off, the selling point for the Gigabud is a super fast 6 week finisher yet at 9 weeks you still have 2+ to go!
But I suppose there free, which is always a good thing, well done
