Flower day 25 of first grow

Hi rollitup!

I've previously made threads asking for your advice and you've all been very helpful. I'm day 25 into my first grow's flower period - strain critical, under platinum p450 led tile. These plants weren't topped but will defo top in future grows.

I expected these buds to be larger by now or does this look about right?

Count your flowering period from the first sign of the sex of the plant, i.e female preflowers (white pistils). This can take 7-10 days from the flip to 12/12, meaning you may only be on week 2 of flower now....under LED in week 2 these look alight. Have patience.

You may want to look into increasing the amount of light in future....they're a bit leggy.

I've heard a lot of conflicting opinions on when to count flowering times from haha. Also I think when I started and all through veg the lights were too far away. Now I have them much closer I think the stretch will be far less in future.

There's only really two opinions, count from 12/12 or count from the time they show sex. Seed companies and some of us growers will count from the time they show sex, and some growers will count from the flip.

If you want an accurate flowering period, always add between 1 and 2 weeks to the time stated by the seed company.

If you want to reduce the stretch, increase your lights off temps for the first two weeks after the flip.
