Hey guys I was planning on building a little room for my seedlings and using it to grow the plants through veg then transfer them in to my grow tent. I wanted to be able to grow the plants to about 15-20in. I plan on using three 4ft flouro fixtures that hold 2 bulbs each. I want the size to be about 2 feet wide, a little longer than 4 feet long, and 2 feet tall. So any ideas on how to make a veg room that doesnt blow the bank.

My flouro box is 2x2x4, it is made out of 1x2 lumber and covered with panda film. I have a 2 foot 4 bulb T5 in the box, if you are going with 3 I suspect that you are using T8 shop lights. Look for the husband and wife grow, I just took their plans and changed the dimensions to suit me. I also have 2 small holes in the top of the box that I put the light chains thru that way I can get the light right up to the top. If you figure about a foot for the pot, (hope you are not in a solo cup or something at 15-20 in), I still have almost 3 full feet for the plants. I suspect that you won't be able to get 20in plants in a 24in box, do the math. Check out discounthydro, they sell panda by the foot for a buck, it's cheap and you don't end up with a lifetime supply of the stuff. Good luck with the box and the grow.
