Is it possible to grow seedlings on flood lamps?

What if a CFL light is comboing with the Flood?

Flood lamps tend to get pretty hot. They are also usually LED or halogen which is not gonna cut it.

Well, it's possible to grow seedlings under almost any type of light if you want to keep em alive, but if you want optimum growth stick to cfl's for seedlings. As akilleez rightly mentioned, flood lamps do get pretty hot so try and stay away from them.

dont use the flood man.. i understand if you have money issues but they get soo hot and i dont even know their color spectrum, might not even work like a halogen doesn't

toss them in the garbage
