FirstGrow! How's "She" Looking?

Hey guys! This is my first ever grow, now it's more of an experimental grow than a large yield grow so try to go easy on me. I'm curious what everyone else thinks of my plant? Does she look good? Is she healthy? Will she flower? How long? Is "she" in fact a she? And the list of questions could go on! All feedback, tips, tricks and general help will be much appreciated.

I'll upload some pictures of my plant and list some key point about it below.
  • Roughly 3 1/2 weeks old
  • Amnesia strain sex unknown
  • Appears healthy
  • WINDOWSILL GROW (I know this would never be suggested but its experimental and I get LOTS of light.
  • Roughly 7inches top-bottom
  • Plant has been topped 4 days ago (again this was me experimenting with things I've read)
  • Very small pot Strung up to keep her straight
  • One 4 fingered leaf (that just confused me)
Please have a little read and checkout the photos and let me know what you think!

Sorry to be a critic, but it looks like it's kind of hurting for light. It would usually be having more blades on the fan leaves (5-9ish) and wouldn't be as tall and skinny.

Males tend to be tall and skinny too...

I don't know what the term is for those but they are a plant-y part, not a flower part.

Pistils will be white like the one is the pre-flower you can see here:

Decent for a first grow with no lights or anything else.

For your second grow, let me make a couple of suggestions.

First, you desperately need more light. That's why it's so tall and skinny. If you're only going to do one or two plants, you don't need a huge light. The general rule of thumb is 100w per plant. You can get a T5 fixture for fairly cheap that holds anywhere from one to eight bulbs. With one four foot bulb running 54 watts, you could customize your grow area quite nicely. Or you could go HID, which is much, much better. But they do get hot, so you need to have proper ventilation. If heat is an issue, I would recommend T5's or CFL's.

Second, I would suggest topping much sooner. Instead of waiting until it's tall and lanky, I would do it much sooner to encourage more side growth. I think you waited a bit too long.

The plant looks healthy enough, but more light and earlier topping would give you a far superior plant. Just my two cents.

Thanks! I will most probably get a light for the second grow,if not I'll still probably chuck one on my windowsill as it costs nothing and looks sexy xD

The topping was more of me experiment as its my first plant, I'll defo do it sooner next time!
