First topping

Right so today I’ve done the first topping, I have never done it before so it’s me being paranoid as always and just want to make sure that I didn’t mess it up. I sanitised the snips but they were rubbish so it was difficult for the clean cut. Here’s a pics and if I haven’t done it correctly, how to fix it?

i took three photos of each plant (got 4 plants in total)

.

Hi Reggie

Your tops will suffice and your two tops will grow.

Next time snip at the top of the node rather than trying to cut close to the bottom. Leave a stump.

A couple reasons why: you have less chance damaging the leaves growing from the new top node; less chance of developing a hole in the top node.
