First tine grower question

I'm about a week and half into a grow from clone the clone is cumin along very nice over double the size of when I 1st got it. My friend said not to put the light (250w) close to the plant qt first do u think I should be lowering it now for more light ?

depends on how close or how far it is? If your satisifed with the current progress I would say stick to it until something comes up that will require you to change the distance.

Try placing your hand above the plants and raise towards lamp , if your hand gets burned then its too close
