I have read several sites and post but still have question about everything. Ill start simple and then we can move on. Im not sure what to look for during veg. to know when its time to start flowering stage. Will having a short ceiling(6') in grow room be an impact on how long i veg. plant? I am using foxfarm ocean forest potting soil and foxfarm nutes. Lighting is 1-1000w hps and 1-1000w mh on one timer 18/6 schedule. i cant think of anything else now so im going to post some pics from seeds to now.

Looking good nice lighting, how much did that put you back?, if you don't mind me asking, the plants and buckets remind me of mine when they were that old, also I'd like to ad that you are going to have a hard time watering/feeding with the way the plants are planted now.

Some of mine are exactly like that and watering is a bitch also all the lower leaves are dying off, I would recommend lifting some of your plants out of the pot and ad some more soil before it's too late, the ones that actually look like their just sitting in the bucket.

i keep three 5 gal. buckets full of water and have an air pump on them. im not going to be adding the nutes to the water till i feed them. i wish i had more room but ill have to get by till i sex the plants and get rid of half of them. the room is is 6' tall x 10' long x 7' wide. i plan on taking 12 clones, i think thats a good amount of plants for that size room.

I was trying to tell you in an earlier post that you're going to have a hard time watering, your leaves are basically laying on the soil, as I stated before the bottom leaves on mine are dying off, exactly what yours is doing now, when you water/feed the leaves get wet and stay wet, eventually they will just die off, also I wouldn't ad any nutes just yet.

Check out my grow journal,

i havnt been adding any nutes yet, the ocean forest soil is suppose to have enough nutes to take the plant thru the veg. stage. i have the foxfarm tri pack (FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company) to use thru flowering.
should i cut back on often i mist the plants or stop completely? i watch the watering close but i do mist the plants at least once a day to keep the dust and any bugs off of plants.
also im going to check ur journal because im a little confused on the adding more soil. should i remove the plant from the bucket and add more soil so the plant is above the rim of the bucket? keeping the bottom leaves higher from the soil? what about the stress of removing the plants from the soil? wont i do damage to the roots removing plant from soil?
i built the lighting control panel, i will post pics of it. the control panel has two timers in it one for 12 hr and one for 18 hr with a switch in the door so i just have to turn it for veg or flowering stages. the lights also have a switch in the door so i can run both lights or either one i want. i built the lighting fixtures also and they work excellent but the heat they give off is probably to much. i have a fan mounted above each fixture to keep the light cooler, without the fan on the fixture gets so hot you cant touch it. i am thinking about getting the 60" cool tube max so i can exhuast the heat straight outside plus i would gain some height.
grow room stays about 85 degrees and humidity runs between 36% to 50%. i have two 100cfm exhuast fans and two 100cfm fans providing fresh air. soon i will have to be adding filters since the smell is starting to become stronger.

I don't mist my plants in fear that they will burn and they seem to be doing ok, I'm stuck with the problem of dying leaves and watering because I waited so long and never did repot but yours are at the stage that it should be ok, although repotting or transplanting has it's risks, however if you want less problems in the future you should lift them out (carefully as possible) and ad dirt, do you have any extra buckets? that would make your job a lot easier.

A month. I'd say another month and a half in veg before you'll be able to tell the sex, depending on the strains of course, most people flower way before then and that's why they are unable to tell sex until flowering.

Nice job on the lighting system and thanks for visiting my journal, I will be keeping an I on yours.

i finally started adding nutes today, started to notice small spots of yellowish/gold colored areas on leaves. i had to go locally to get plant food today got 33-11-11 and only feeding half of recommended amount for now. want to see how plants are going to react before giving full dose of one tsp. per gallon. wednesday will be 4 weeks since seeds sprouted and most of the plants are over 14" now and the shortest is 10".
