First timer looking for advice on stretching when flowering starts?

Well hello everyone, I'm new here and it is also my first grow. That being said before I even attempted this I read up on growing Marijuana for over a year and a half before I had the money to build a hidden room in plain sight of the public. I split my shed in half, it's a 7'×14'×9' space that is insulated better than my home is.(no bullspit) anyway I'm running 3 1000wat hps with a 6' in can-fan s 600 intake another can fan only it is an 8' don't quite remember the water but it's fierce. I have my dream begin news grow room and it full and getting fuller, so my question is they have been in flower for 10 days, though they have grown quite a bit I wouldn't think they have even started. Is it normal? Are they always slow to start? And if they aren't close what can I expect approximately for size?

Depends on lighting and nutrients from my past experience. It may take a few days or almost 2 weeks. Just Monitor the nodes and make sure to pull the plants with male traits ASAP. Best of luck and looks like a nice set up. How is your heat and power bill? I last grew with CFLs while in school lol so I didn't really see a bill. Want to get a new grow in and have a HPS ballast but worried about electricity bills.

Size wise they're going to stretch anywhere from 2x-3x their height when you flipped. They'll also expand width wise as they pack on weight. The whole process takes about 3 weeks. Some strains stretch very little. Reviews of your particular strains will help to find out what to expect during the stretch.
