First timer, just a few questions

Hey, I'm a first time grower and I'm almost done setting up my closed. I've just got a few questions that'll help me sort out the last of the kinks so I can finish construction and move on to farming.

First, I'll provide some details as to my setup. I've got a walk-in closet roughly 28 square feet. The growing area will be four feet by two feet with one plant per square foot. The fan I've got is rated at 95 CFM which is double what I'll need for a room that size. As such I'm electing to go with a 600 Watt HPS. I've built a chamber surrounding the growing area to boost reflected lumens. The exhaust fan will be directly above the light, air intake into the closet will be through the base of the chamber and I'll have computer fans providing circulation inside the chamber. An oscillating fan will provide air flow throughout the closet as well.

My first question is will it be safe to use such a powerful light in that small a space? (I read that 1200 Watts per 4x4 area is what the sun provides, which is what prompted my decision). Given my ventilation I'm not overly worried, but I'm no expert.

Second, if I'm growing in ProMix, using the B'Cuzz Bio-NRG line of nutrients and Humboldt County's Own line of supplements, under a 600 Watt lamp how much can I expect my 8 square foot area to yield? I am an inexperienced grower but a quick learner and (I hesitate to say, but for lack of a better word) a perfectionist when it comes to these things.

the light is fine ..the yeild will be determind by your growing system how many fems an how long you veg...peace

congrats it seems u have researched and done well
on the yield that wil vary imho
u will over time get to know ya plants and system
wen u have tweaked ya run u will yield the most
so its practice practice practice i say
wat strain are u chosing to run??
id be getting some plants in there asap veging away
id also germ probably twice the amount of seeds to plants u want
as u will find males,weak plants etc..are u goingto keeep a mum??
for cloning and imo easy growing..

Thanks.. I'm planning to grow sea of green, eight clones from an indica-dominant strain (not sure which one specifically, more to follow after i talk to my source). I'll be veg-ing them for a week or two more after they reach two feet in height. I've no idea how long the total veg stage will last as of yet.

I plan on eventually converting my dresser into a mother op and then use it as breeding grounds once I can dedicate more space for the mother(s)/clones.

Like I said, I'll provide pictures AS SOON as construction is done. The closet's still somewhat cluttered right now, but now that I know my ideal light is fine it'll soon be finished.
