So i've decided to try a stealth grow in a dresser in my closet. i've been looking through all the threads here and i am just wondering what i need exactly to make it. I already have mylar sheeting and i've painted the inside of the dresser flat white(eggshell). Now i'm just wondering what lighting to use so i can use it for both flowering and veg stages. I would also like to know what kind of fans and filters i need so that it doesn't smell.

thanks for all the help

the dresser dimensions are 15"x 30"x35"

Well you only need either mylar or white walls. How big is your closet? My last grow was in a 2x6x8 closet and it was very hard to manage. It's really hard to control heat and humidity in a small space. I would recommend using only cpf. Also, keep your plants small, remember that your gonna need to fit fans in their with your plants. I packed way to many plants into my closet and ended up having to remove some do to space and high humidity.

Here's some pictures that will hopefully help

Your going to want blue spectrum lighting for veg - so Blue CFL, or MH
Your going to want red-orange spectrum lighting for flowering - so Red CFL, or HPS

Here's a link from a CFL lighting post

You'll want a carbon filter and an intake fan and outake fan(with the carbon filter attached)

Make sure to light proof your door so you can flower properly

Best of Luck!

sorry i am doing it in a dresser in my closet. the dimensions are 15"x 30"x35" it's a decent sized dresser. i am only thinking about doing two or three plants, and i'm going to use LST to manage height. I need this to be pretty stealthy because i live with my parents. they don't come into my room often and never go into my dressers so i'm fine there i just don't want it to be loud and or smelly. i'm already looking into some charcoal filters for the exhaust fan. Does anyone have any specific brand of lights that they like? thanks

ok so i'm thinking about getting some CFL's and i was wondering what you guys think about the t3's 26W 6500K for veg, and the 23W 2700K for flowering. How many of each do you think i'll need? any help is greatly appreciated.. i re-posted the dimensions of my grow box in my first post.

damn growing in your parents house is ballsy, I'd look into odor eating gel and that sort of thing if its only gonna be 2 plants. Fans make noise, even the little ones.
