First time, I'm hooked.

My first grow. Never planned on taking it very seriously. I just dropped some seeds in a wet paper towel one day and I've been reading and trying to fine-tune the operation ever since. I got the fever.
The first thing I realized is that doing it half-ass is just a waste of time and energy. This is true of most things in life.
So I've been taking good care of the plants, being careful to avoid some of the typical rookie mistakes, but they have a few things working against them that I can't go back and change.
First of all, I started with bag seed, and some of them might even be from a hermie. Not exactly sure.

Second, I have had to move the plants twice (while in veg stage) for security reasons. I didn’t damage the plants during the moves but it seems like this would be stressful for them. They showed no ill effects at the time but I’m wondering if this will make them even more susceptible to becoming hermies.
Third, since I started them on 12/12, I've screwed up the schedule a few times. I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten more than 12 hours of light at any time, but I've been late turning it on a couple times and I had a problem with the timer yesterday.

Additional info:
I vegged six plants, in soil, for 6 or 7 weeks, with a bunch of cfls. They grew nice and bushy.
I switched to 250w hps when I put them on 12/12.
Had 3 males and 3 females, males were terminated.
The growth chamber is about 2'w x 4'h x 4'L.
Seems like it will be enough space for the three remaining plants.
I also added two 70w hps, one on each end of the chamber.
I have a fart-fan on the top of the chamber for exhaust, and so far that’s all I have for ventilation. I keep the plants pretty close to the lights and so far have not burned them. I keep a close eye on them, check with my hand, surface temp of the leaves is about 75F (no-touch IR thermometer).
This is DAY 18 of 12/12.
That's all I know, or think I know.

My questions:
1. With the stress that I have put on the plants, along with the possibility that the seeds could have come from a hermie, are my three females doomed to become hermies also?

2. If they herm, when do they usually do it?

3. Of the three girls, two (B and C) are kinda short and stout, with sturdy stems and big leaves, rugged and dependable looking.
The other one (A) is a little taller, narrower leaves, thinner stems, prettier than the other two, but also appears kinda delicate and high maintenance.
Do these qualities give any indication of their strains?

4. Should I trim the lower sections of the plants that don’t get much light?
If so, should I just cut some of the more sheltered and weak looking leaves, or should I take out the smallest of the branches that are buried under there?

5. The plants are in 2gallon buckets. Transplant to 5s or is it too late for that?

Is anyone still reading this?
So, how am I doing so far?
Suggestions?
Thanks for checking out my stuff.

looks like you have some nice plants... your doing very well so far... as for your questions... youve determined that there female... so if u have no more lighting issues... then hope they wont turn hermie... i would be inspeacting thise plants on a regular basis looking for male parts... if u see some then you can choose to ... get rid of the plants... or just keep picking off/killing the male parts till the plant is done flowering/harvest... if hermie your plants will most likly have lower potency/quality.. but will still be smokeable .. as for when they turn hermie... i wouldent know... as for triming the lower leaves... go ahead if u like... if no/little buds are growing on them then energy is just wasted.. so feel free to take some off to give them more breeze getting through those bush's ..... as for the transplant... i'd say no... simply because youve already entered flowering and your plants may be stressed as it is.... dont wanna add any more by wrestling them into a bigger pot......as for the strain thing... no... it may be that one didnt get enough light and streached? or mabe its sativa and the others are indica... or mabe the 2 bushy ones just have dominant trait's which would be better for breeding... no way to know considering its bagseed and i havent seen the plants... for your next grow first thing i would do is order some high quality seeds online... u can get them for like 20$ .... if you have any questions i would be happy to share my opinion...as for the information ive just wrote... it is all personal opinion.. and if a more experienced grower has a contradition then hear them out. but im pretty sure this is good quality opinions

Thanks Cheetah and Oshit. I never show the plants to anyone so it's good to get some positive feedback.
I think you're right about leaving them in the 2gallon pots. I didn't want them to get too tall anyway.
My next grow will be a different story. I'm working on a new growth chamber with a lot more space, hidden door, etc. It won't be completely undetectable, but the casual observer will never know it's there.
I'll post more pics as the grow continues.

i'll just say that other than the fact that your plants look great and you seem to know what you're doing, that has to be the best organized and informed question i've ever seen lol.

Thanks Darknight.
Some of the stuff I've read on this and other sites gives me a headache. I enjoy a little ghetto slang as much as the next guy, but I think it's gotten a little out of hand.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments.
