id say youre doing fine. you have some thing to simulate wind? i.e a table fan? this would help your plant a lot in the long rung :)

Don't even worry about being paranoid, just be smart. My first grow I was flipping out, but as long as you jeep quiet, don't tell ANYBODY and don't have tons of people in and out of your house.

Even if something goes catastrophically bad (like someone sees your setup through a window and informs police), they still wouldn't get around to getting a warrant beforenyoy finish your first grow--and even then, they wouldn't be able to get a warrant unless (again, you do something stupid) and give them a reason to be able to get one. Just sta

Message got cut off: stay smart, follow the 3rules: don't tell, don't smell, don't sell. And if you are gonna sell, be smart.

Get it outta those clear cups, roots don't like light. Bury that tall stem up to the bottom of that plant its stretched,

Its safe to bury the plant up to the cotyledons (little round leafs). Burying any higher than that poses risks for stem rot.

Its good for the plant to grow, but it being "taller" isn't necessarily a good thing. When the light is too far, plants stretch reaching for the warmth and light. It causes the nodes (or branches) to be more distant to each other.

When the node spacing is too far, your buds won't grow together to form terminal colas (big fat juicy bud on the tops). If you are having stretch, get the plant a little closer to the light (and yeah, burying it up to the first set of leaves helps)

I'm kind of confused about what you're worrying about friend. I mean it just popped out of the ground.
