First time growing in soil, need some nutrient help

I have the general hydroponic flora series and would like to stick with that. I've been growing in hydro but wanted to try a scrog and it seems that would be a pain with my current DWC setup so I decided to grow in soil. I was going to use some fox farms ocean forest soil in some smart pots. I figure the fox farm should take care of the entire veg cycle (2-4 weeks) without having to add nutrients. But after it depletes the nutrients in the soil I'm not sure how to go about introducing the flora nutrients. I'd like a short veg since I'm growing in a 2x4x5 foot tent. Could someone give some advice on nutrient amounts as well as container size?

if you just went from dwc to soil, you just went from porsche to pinto. stick with dwc, did you have a chiller for you system? 68F is a good temp to stay under.

You could use the Lucas formula
Or look at GH website for the drain to waste recipe
I've used both with great results

There's nothing wrong with growing in soil, I love these hydro snobs lol. different breed altogether! Have a go at soil the results can be quite good. I use maxsea grow and then at flower maxsea bloom, best nutes fir soil I've ever found. It lacks magnesiun but Epsom salts cures that issue one tablespoon per gal.

fox farm ocean is good soil you can go 4 to 6 weeks with ph water ,you want to veg 4 weeks at week 3 introduce nutrients at 1/4 strength and work your way up till you get the slightest tip burn then back down a cunt hair ,with your tent size i would go 3 gallon pot that is what i use, dont force into flower if they are a little sick let them stabilize, growing in soil is in my opinion the best product,if you are trying to grow fast and production line shit soil isnt your best bet.hope this helps

If you're growing from seed I 'm not sure you can fill the scrog in 4 weeks. Depends I guess. I have used Flora in Fox Farms. No problem. Probably after week three you can start giving them a little veg nutes. They'll let you know. Don't forget the CalMag if using RO.
