First time growing. How do they look?

What do you guys think? Week 3. They look happy to me. Should I be concerned with the slightly lighter color of the new growth or normal? They are grand daddy purple autos in 3.5g pots using soil. Had to add diatomaceous earth at first because bag of soil had fungus gnats (that problem now solved)

Looks happy. New growth always looks lighter until it hardens off. If it's your first grow, be mindful of your watering. Cannabis likes more dry days than wet days, so don't water unless it's needed ;)

Good to know. I've been using a moisture probe and typically wait until it hits the "dry" reading before watering. So far I've only been watering them once a week. I can tell they are starting to dry out faster.

Which reminds me, has anyone ever used foxfarm happyfrog soil? From what I've gathered its an amended soil. I'm just curious howlong I should wait before adding some nutes. I have foxfarm grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom. I was Also recommended some Cal-Mag. They are about to hit week 4. Should I start feeding them at say 1/4th the dose according to their feed chart? Or is it better to wait until they show some yellowing?
