First time growing... any tips would be much appreciated.

So I had some seeds from some top shelf and decided to give it a try. 6/22/20 germination stage after placing it in moist paper towel and zip lock tap root came out after 2 days. 6/24/20 planted in all organic medium and after about 2 1/2 more days it started coming out the medium. But the container I had it in was not big enough and the plant was really healthy so I transplanted it after a Week and a half into the 5 gallon container. I thought I ruined it after wards and just after 2 days it continued to grow stronger. Its now been almost 21/2 weeks and its continued to grow more. Im not sure its a female or male or hermie?? Can I start to clip the very first set of bottom leaves? Or should I wait some more?

Hi,

nice plant. I believe you did the transplant too early but that’s Okay you recovered.

your question is about high stress training.

I believe given your side and growth rate you’d benefit from doing both a FIM and a LST bend of the main branch. You have new leaf at each node. While the plant is recovering from the FIMMING it can push those new colas up as well.

Edit: your question isn’t about topping or fimming.

No do not defoliate the bottom fan leafs.

Whats up man thanks for the feedback, I will certainly do some research on that and will definitely not trim the bottom leaves.

Whats going JCGreen81, well here are some after pics of my plant. I did fim the main branch the day after my original post and did not defoliate. I tried to lst bend, with what wire i had. Should be getting package of material just for this today. Also I believe but dont want to believe, it may be a male still a little confused on telling the sex? Its also getting that nice skunky aroma. I love it. I was hoping to get some clones going if possible?! Any suggestions
